The Week in Review

March 2, 2008 at 12:21 am (Dyeing, knitting)

Whew!  It’s been a busy week.  There’s been a lot going on here, but not much time for blogging.  Here’s what I’ve been up to this week.

I did get the yarn re-skeined and knitted up for DD#1’s class

Since they are all about 150 yds. of sock weight yarn, they are destined to become baby socks.  I already started knitting the Grape Ape (purple) and it is sooooo pretty!

The school history fair was Wednesday, so the early part of the week was spent putting the finishing touches on DD#1’s project.  She and her partner did a fab job that merits it’s own post.

Thursday, I spent about 4 hours helping at the school and a dear friend and neighbor of mine passed away.  I was said to hear the news, she and her husband are like the neighborhood grandparents.  They are some of the best people I have been fortunate to know.

Friday was spent running errands, taking DD#1 to guitar lessons and dealing with the neighbor kids who can’t leave everyone’s garbage cans alone.

Lest you think I did no knitting, I finished DD#2’s Hawser Sweater and the Easy Lace Scarf.

Hope you all had a good week!
