Soaring with the Eagles

Yesterday we went to the Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area to see the Bald Eagles.  We were lucky enough that there was a group of about 50-60 eagles,  just hanging out by the river,  for our observation.  This was a pretty cool experience since I have never  seen a Bald Eagle in the wild before.  We got some great pictures. 


This one stayed in the same spot, watching the whole time we were there.eagles8.jpg





I’m no birdwatching expert, but I think that’s a hawk.




So there is your very photo-laden post for today.  My DH did such a good job on these that it was hard to choose!  Especially when you’re starting with 40 photos!
